This policy explains which cookies and browser-storage technologies amp-kit.com uses, why they are used and how you can control them.

1. What cookies and browser storage are

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. Local storage is a similar browser feature that keeps preferences on your device. These technologies may be essential for a requested feature or optional for analytics.

2. Essential storage

  • ampkit_cookie_consent — records acceptance for up to one year so the website can remember your choice.
  • ampkit_cookie_consent_declined — records a refusal in local storage until you clear browser data or change the choice.
  • amp-kit-language — remembers the selected language in local storage until you clear browser data.

3. Analytics

AMP-KIT also records first-party aggregate counters for page views, engagement, selected interface actions and confirmed enquiries. These counters use no cookies or browser storage and contain no visitor or session identifier, raw IP address, full referrer URL or enquiry contact fields.

The Google Analytics 4 tag loads on international pages. In the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, analytics storage is denied until you accept; while denied, Google may receive limited cookieless measurements and the consent state. Elsewhere analytics storage is enabled unless you decline. When storage is enabled, GA4 may use cookies such as _ga and _ga_* for up to one year. Campaign parameters and advertising click IDs are stored in ampkit_attribution only after acceptance. Google Signals and personalised advertising are disabled. Enquiry email addresses, names and comments are not sent to Google Analytics.

4. Accepting or declining

You can decline analytics and still send enquiries. To change or withdraw your choice, open Cookie settings in the footer and select Decline. This denies analytics storage, clears analytics cookies and campaign storage, and reloads the page. Google may continue to receive limited cookieless measurements where supported. You can also delete browser data in your browser settings.

5. Browser controls

You can inspect, block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Blocking essential storage may stop the website from remembering your language or consent choice.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the website, analytics tools or legal requirements change. The current version and its update date are published on this page.
